Well I just decided to “lab” up an “opnsense” router…. in typical cheap fashion this landed up being an HP 6000 Pro small form factor with a dual gigabit “reclaim” card (£8 on ebay).
Well the software on a Intel dual core with 4gig ram works quite well even off a usb stick! but what really made me grin was the OS pulling the updates on gigabit!!!
anyone want to set me up with gigabit internet for free?
p.s. opnsense is awesome its like a swiss army knife for routing superb lads great project….
